Well hello there! Can you believe that yesterday was the first day of Spring? This time of year has always made me so happy. It’s warmer, days of being stuck inside are finally over, and beautiful, colorful flowers are in bloom everywhere you look.
Lately, I’ve been perusing the internet looking for some pops of colors and signs of Spring to add around the apartment and today, I thought I’d share some of the affordable home items I’ve found with you.

Spring Home Decor Finds
one | Gingham Rug
I just purchased this rug for our hallway and I love it. Not to mention, the price is crazy good! This rug is perfect on it’s own or layered underneath of a coir doormat like the one pictured below.
two | Indoor Outdoor Pillow
I bought two euro size pillows just like this a couple of years ago from Pottery Barn Outlet and even though they’re technically outdoor pillows, they’re great for using inside. I love the neutral color and the woven texture. This size would be perfect added to an accent chair and you could even add your monogram to it.
three | Yellow Throw Pillow 22×22
This yellow throw pillow stopped me right in my tracks. The color screams Spring and the little starburst-like embroidered detail is just darling. These pillows are the perfect option if you’re in need of a solid throw pillow, but want something with a little more texture.
four | Floral Door Mat
Do you love to change your doormat according to the season? I know I do, but to be honest, I have yet to put another one out since I packed our Christmas one up. I absolutely love this floral doormat and the best part is you can use it until Fall. I’m all about having to buy one less thing!
five | Cabbage Appetizer Plates
Do you love cabbage ware as much as I do? This set of 4 appetizer plates is absolutely stunning and for cabbage ware, the price is even better. If you’re preparing for an upcoming Easter feast and want to add something new to your table, these plates are just the thing!
One of my most favorite parts about this time of year, is all the colorful flowers in bloom. As much as I like having fresh blooms in the house, Trader Joe’s is 30 minutes away from our house, so it’s not always possible. When it’s not, I love having a faux flower arrangement like this one on stand by. It’s pretty and it won’t die!
Lately, I’ve been thinking of redoing some things in our hallway and adding this print. All of the colors are so beautiful and for a print like this, the price is really good!
I recently came across Paint and Petals on Instagram and she is so talented. She did a collection of housewares with Anthropologie including these melamine plates and they’re simply gorgeous. The colors are so vibrant and perfect for any Spring or Summer table setting.
nine | Woven Pouf
One thing I wish our apartment had is some kind of outdoor space simply to put cute finds like this pouf. This little guy is perfect for an outdoor sitting space and would go great with any kind of decor.
ten | Wildflowers Art Print
Isn’t this print the cutest? As I type this, I’m currently racking my brain for places I could put it, unfortunately we’re running out of wall space. This print is a great price, comes in multiple sizes, and would look stunning in a simple gold frame.
