Now that I’ve completed our dining room makeover, I’m ready to move onto the next room. I had originally planned on tackling our living room next since it’s right next to our dining room, but I’ve been stashing stuff away for our bathroom so I thought why not take care of it first. Plus, it’ll be cheaper and I’ll be able to get it done faster! So, are you ready to see the before? I’ll be honest, I’m a little embarrassed to show these pictures, but we’re all friends right? This is a judgement free zone.

So, I guess you could say I’ve got my work cut out for me! Believe it or not, when we first toured our apartment, the bathroom is really what caught my attention. I love the vintage light blue tile, I think it adds so much character! However, I do think it makes our bathroom seem a little cold and institutional if ya know what I mean. My goal with this space is to make it as cozy, comfortable, and spa like as possible.

You may be asking yourself, “how is she going to make this tiny, grimy, apartment bathroom spa like?” To start, I’m going to cover a little bit of those stark white walls with black peel and stick stripes (sort of like the inspiration picture above). I’m also going to try and incorporate a lot of fabrics to soften up the space like using drapes for a shower curtain and adding a cornice board to hide that hideous bent shower rod.

I think this is going to be quite the transformation and I cannot wait to share the “after” with y’all!

If you missed any of my other room reveals, you can see them here: dining room, kitchen, bedroom (at our old house).
