On Friday, my best friend and I are taking off for the 127 yard sale and I am so excited! If you’re not familiar, the 127 yard sale is the world’s longest yard sale running from Addison, Michigan to Gadsden, Alabama. I’ve been getting my bag packed and today I thought I’d share eight essential items you must take with you if you’re doing the 127 yard sale!

one | Batiste Dry Shampoo
I picked up this dry shampoo because I have a feeling we’re going to be waking up super early and I am definitely not a morning person. So, anything that will make my mornings easier and let me sleep in a little more, count me in!
Y’all, I bought these at the beginning of the summer when Macy’s was having their friends and family sale and let me tell you, these are amazing! They take you’re makeup so easily and leave your face feeling hydrated. I’m bringing these because it’s supposed to be hot and these will be great to clean my face with at the end of day.
three | Camelbak Water Bottle
Since it’s going to be hot, I’m definitely packing my water bottle to keep me hydrated! These water bottles are so great because you don’t have to unscrew a top, they don’t spill or leak, and they have a hook that you can hold onto or latch onto a bag.
four | Hot Pink Wristlet
When I’m traveling, I’m super cautious with my money. Wristlets are great because you can wrap it around your wrist or put it in a larger bag. Since this is a yard sale, I recommend carrying cash. However, I wouldn’t carry all of the cash you have in your wallet or wristlet. Just to be safe, hide some of your money in your car so that in the case your wallet goes missing, you have a back up. And since we’re talking about safety, it’s super easy to get into the hunt, but always be aware of what’s around you! Okay, off my soap box now.
five | Sun Bum Face Sunscreen Stick
I bought this sunscreen while we were on vacation in Florida earlier this summer and it is amazing! It smells so good and really protects your face from the sun!
I bought this at the same time I bought the face sunscreen above and I’ll admit, when I saw the price I was a little hesitant. $15 for a bottle of sunscreen seemed expensive, but I’m telling you, it’s worth every penny. If you want something that’s really going to work and protect your skin without having to reapply it every hour, try this, you’ll love it!
seven | Scout Tote
Isn’t this tote the cutest? I’m taking a tote to carry around and to help keep my stuff organized. To me, there is nothing worse that being on a road trip and your things being strung about in the car.
eight | Nike Juvenate Tennis Shoes
And lastly, I’m sure we’ll be doing a ton of walking, so I’m taking a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. These aren’t the exact pair that I have, but they’re pretty close!
Be sure to follow me on Instagram as I’ll probably be updating my stories with all sorts of shenanigans during our trip!
