Monthly Recap: June

Can y’all believe it’s already July? I hope everyone had a great fourth of July weekend! There has been a lot happening here on Sincerely, Sweetpea this past month. So, for those of you that are new around here or may have missed a post, I thought I’d do a recap of last months most popular posts.

Monthy recap from interior design and DIY blog Sincerely, Sweetpea.

1. Window Sill Herb Garden

If you haven’t checked this one out yet, you definitely need to! For less than $25 and about an hour, I turned our kitchen window sill into the cutest little indoor garden!

2. Faux Summer Flower Arrangement

I love having fresh flowers in the house, but sometimes it can be expensive to buy flowers every. single. week. This DIY faux flower arrangement is so simple, looks great, and the best part, it will never die!

3. Affordable Renter Approved Light Fixtures

In our living room/dining room there are no hardwired lights. As I was on the hunt for one, I thought it might be helpful to roundup some that I found just in case you all were in the same boat. If you’re not a renter, plug in lights can be great if you want to add a new light, but you’re not ready to commit to hardwiring just yet.

4. Six Creative Storage Solutions

And lastly, I shared six storage solutions that are great for keeping things out of sight, but decorative as well!

And, the highlight of this month was my feature on Craft Box Girls! They reached out and wanted to feature my modern glam cane chair redo and without hesitation, I said absolutely, yes!

Step by step tutorial on how to reupholster a thrifted cane chair

There ya have it! Be sure to check back on Friday, I’m kicking off my summer DIY series!
