Affordable, Cute Floral Fabrics

Affordable and cute floral print fabricsSince visiting The Greenbrier, I have become completely obsessed with floral patterns. They’re feminine, classic, and dramatic, I mean, what’s not to love? Today, I’ve pulled together sixteen cute and affordable floral fabrics. And, at the end, I’m sharing how to choose a floral pattern that doesn’t seem horribly out of style and dated.

Aren’t all those floral prints just gorgeous?? I’ll be honest, when I tell people I’m incorporating a floral print in a design, they’re always like “Is that in style?” or “Gosh, I haven’t seen that in ages.” And yes, I’ll have to agree, some floral prints are a little been there done that, but, there are others that have stood the test of time. Here is a list of things I think make up the perfect, in-style floral print (And, of course, just like anything else there is always an exception to any of these):

1. Large Scale Patterns

2. Bold, Bright Colors (No Pastels)

3. Realistic-Looking Flowers

4. Bright, Bold Green Leaves and Stems

5. Variation of Color (Not Monochromatic)

6. Includes the Popular Cabbage Rose (Like #3 and #10)

Have a great weekend!

These floral fabrics are all lovely. I haven’t used floral fabric in decor in a long time, but it’s fun to see that they are making a comeback. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle!
