Dorothy Draper Inspired Home Accessories

Bright, colorful, and bold Dorothy Draper home accessories
Ever since my Mom and I had our girls weekend at The Greenbrier, I’ve been completely inspired (and a little obsessed) with the beautiful style of the one and only Dorothy Draper! Dorothy Draper style means color, bold floral patterns, bamboo, bows, lacquered furniture, chinoiserie, did I mention color?? Today, I’m sharing a round up of some bright and colorful, Dorothy Draper inspired home accessories!

A great way to add a pop of color to any room is colorful artwork! Not only is this print only $25, but it would go great in a gallery wall or in a small space like a bathroom that needs a little extra something! I also love love these ginger jar prints (1, 2, 3)!
I know what you’re thinking, $150 for a mirror, that’s a little steep, right? Yes, absolutely! Let’s not get it twisted, I don’t just go out and drop $150 on a mirror just any ole day. This is definitely something that I would save my pennies for. Also, if you’re in the market for a bamboo mirror like this, but don’t want to spend that much, I recently came across something similar at Home Goods on sale for $50.

When I think of Dorothy Draper, chinoiserie style, one of the first things that comes to mind is blue and white ginger jars! I definitely don’t think you can ever have too many ginger jars! They look great styled on shelfs or in a cluster as a centerpiece!
How cute is this pineapple tumbler?? In the south, pineapples are a symbol of welcome, warmth, and hospitality, so what better way to greet your guest than with good ole cocktail in this bad boy? These tumblers would make a great addition to any bar cart or used as a container on a coffee table or countertop. Here is a more affordable option that would be great for any party!
Y’all, I nearly fell over when I first laid eyes on these cuties! While my Mom and I were at The Greenbrier, one of the design elements I saw used a lot was bows. Why not, right?? They’re the perfect feminine touch on top of color and floral patterns galore! These bow knobs would be perfect for a desk or any piece of furniture with only one or two drawers, wouldn’t want to over do it!
Lacquered/Painted furniture=Dorothy Draper staple! At exactly $44.49 these side tables are absolutely unbeatable! Perfect for a reading nook or in between two chairs in a living room! Here is a similar option that is a little less in your face if that’s your thing LOL. Also, I just found this bamboo side table and I’m completely in love and it’s on sale!!!
Like I said, you can never have enough ginger jars! Honestly, these ginger jars aren’t a bad price, but I’ve been able to find theme at antique stores on occasion for a steal.
I love love these lamps! Placing one of these lamps at each end of a sofa table or a long and skinny dresser would be so cute! Can you tell I’m just dying to get my hands on a place to decorate LOL??
First of all, have you all seen Dana Gibson’s home goods? I could take one of everything! This is definitely one of those things I would save my pennies for just like the bamboo mirror, but I just love it! It would be perfect atop your coffee table or night stand!
Scallops? Count me in! Forget the boring ole floating shelves, that scallop detail is eva-ry-thing! Each shelf is 16 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and can hold up to 25 pounds. These would be perfect above a toilet to place some small apothecary jars on!
One of the amazing things about Dorothy Draper was her attention to detail. Every inch of a space needed to be beautiful! So, why settle for that boring, straight from the factory finial? These finials are a great way to add a little personal detail! If blue isn’t your thing, don’t worry, they come in 8 other colors.
Roostery is a website I just recently discovered and I have to say, I’m hooked! The selection is incredible and the prices are unbeatable! Buffalo check is kind like ginger jars, you can never have enough! One thing I love about buffalo check is it works really well with other patterns. Pair this puppy with a palm print (wink wink) or a bold floral pattern and you my friend, will be in business!
There is absolutely no way I could make a Dorothy Draper inspired roundup of home accessories without including a palm print. That famous Brazilliance wallpaper though!!! Simply gorgeous! I ordered the pillows I used in our bedroom from Willa Skye and absolutely love them!
I’m telling ya, Roostery has been a Godsend! It’s seriously like someone jumped inside my brain and put all the fabric I’ve ever dreamt of on one website at prices I can actually afford. Oh and just for the record, this is in no way shape or form sponsored, I just like it that much!

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!Linking up herehere, here, here, here, and here!
